I graduated from the renowned Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in 2000 and completed Board certification in 2000.  In the time since then I have enjoyed a private practice serving a wide variety of clients with a focus on working with clients with complex needs, sharing my expertise in the areas of : chronic illness, oncology, prenatal and postpartum needs. I've had the honor of working with pediatric patients at Diamond Children's Hospital providing customized  integrative healing therapies to the children, their families and Banner staff. Several days of advanced oncology massage training allows me to provide the safest care possible.

Working with clients during times of challenge and transition is my passion. Oncology massage is a significant part of my practice and I am able, as as cancer survivor myself to relate in an especially empathetic way to others who are facing cancer as well as those who have recovered.

In addition to my 1000 hours of initial massage school training, I have extensive continued education and clinical experience. My services are client centered and customized to enhance wellness and to help reduce the physical and emotional distress of any specific health concerns and or side effects of medical treatments. Some modalities I have been trained in include: acupressure, aromatherapy, cranial sacral, energy medicine, extensive oncology massage training, prenatal and postpartum massage (as well as certifications as a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, lactation educator, infant massage instructor) reflexology, Reiki level 2, inpatient and outpatient education in stress reduction self care techniques. Innumerable hours of self study in : energy medicine, meditation, mood disorders, stress reduction, the mind body connection, and recovery after trauma, nicely round out my education base. In April 2024 I will complete certification in manual lymphatic drainage.
